Commercial - We represent sellers and buyers in all kinds and types of "commercial" real estate matters, including farms, industrial properties, and commercial properties.

Residential - We represent sellers and buyers in the sale and purchase of residences, including single family homes, condominiums, and town homes.

Leases - We represent parties in the negotiation and review of leases of all kinds and types.

Like-Kind or Tax Deferred Exchanges - We regularly assist clients who own investment real estate with like-kind exchanges. Like-kind exchanges are sometimes called tax-free exchanges because the exchange transaction itself is not taxed (although the tax is technically deferred, not eliminated). IRS regulations make exchanging easy and inexpensive. Like-kind exchanges are commonly known by many names including '1031 tax-deferred exchanges' and 'Starker exchanges' (named after a court decision).

There are numerous advantages of a like-kind exchange. The primary advantage is that you, as a taxpayer, may dispose of investment real estate without incurring any immediate income tax liability. This allows you to keep the money which would otherwise be paid in taxes for further investment.

Fees - With the exception of residential real estate matters, real estate services are generally billed on an hourly basis. Residential real estate matters are generally billed on a fixed fee basis.
